The thirteenth majlis from the book Majalis of the month of Ramadan entitled “Etiquette of reading the Qur’an.”

This Qur’an that you recite, hear, memorize and write is the word of your Lord, the Lord of the worlds, the God of the first and the others, and he is his strong rope and his straight path, which is the blessed and the clear light. by the heart of Muhammad peace be upon him to be omniscient Arabic tongue, described God great descriptions of Tazmoh and Thtermuh Almighty said "the month of Ramadan, which revealed the Koran guidance for mankind and clear proofs of the guidance and the Criterion" and the Almighty said, "O people, has come proof from your Lord We have sent down to you a clear light (174) .These many great descriptions that we have transmitted and others that we have not conveyed all indicate the greatness of this Qur’an, the necessity of veneration and politeness when reciting it and the distance from reading it from nonsense and play.

* It is etiquette of recitation: Sincerity of intention to God there, because the recitation of the worship venerable as already explained its virtues The Almighty said: "I sent down to you the Book in truth so serve God as Savior religion (2)" The Almighty "and ordered not God to worship loyal to him Religion is affectionate. ”And the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: ((Read the Qur’an and seek it for the sake of God, the Exalted, the Exalted, before a people comes to set it up, to hasten it and not delay it)) Narrated by Ahmad and what is meant by ((they hasten him)) means that they seek the reward of the world.

* Among its etiquette: to recite with a present heart that contemplates what he reads and understands its meanings, and at that time his heart is humbled and he invokes that God Almighty speaks to him in this Qur’an because the Qur’an is the word of God Almighty.

* And among its etiquette: To recite in the form of purity because this is from the veneration of the words of God Almighty and he does not recite the Qur’an while he is junub until he is bathed if he is able to use water or tayammum if he is unable to use water due to illness or not.

* Among its etiquette: that he should not recite the Qur’an in a downtrodden place or in a gathering in which he does not listen to its reading, because reading it in such a way is an insult to him and it is not permissible for him to recite the Qur’an in the washroom and the like.

* And among its etiquette: That God seek protection from Satan, the Merciful, when wanting to recite, because God Almighty says: “So when you read the Qur’an, seek refuge in God from Satan, the accursed (98).”

As for the Basmalah, if the beginning of its reading is during the surah, then it should not be Bismil, and if it is from the beginning of the surah, then let it be smoldering except in Surat At-Tawbah, then it is not at the beginning of it Basmalah, because the Companions, may God be pleased with them, were confused when writing the Qur’an whether it is an independent surah or the rest of the Anfal, so they separated between them without Basmalah and this diligence Undoubtedly, it is identical to reality, since if the Basmalah had been revealed at its beginning, it would have remained preserved with the preservation of God Almighty, because God Almighty said: “We have sent down the remembrance of Allah, and for Him they would have preserved (9).”

* And among its etiquette: To improve his voice with the Qur’an and sing it to the two Sahihs from the hadith of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: ((God did not permit anything (that is, he did not listen to anything) as he authorized a prophet with a good voice to sing the Qur’an out loud)) .

* Among its etiquette: To recite the Qur’an in a hymn to the Almighty’s saying, “Recite the Qur’an in a hymn (4)” and then recite it slowly without haste, because that helps to ponder its meanings and correct its letters and words.

These are some of the etiquette for reading the Qur’an, so be disciplined with it and be careful with it and seek it out of the grace of God Almighty.
